The rich and charming illustrations in this wonderful, oversized Golden Book would appeal to adults as well as children. The 19 tales are quite short and the illustrations quite large. Tales seem historically accurate and are well told. It would be fun to read one per night to a child in the nights leading up to Christmas

It came in various hardback incarnations: the one I grew up with had a glossy cover with an illustration from this beautifully illustrated volume (I include the one of St. Francis). The stories are treasures for children and adults alike. This one is a keeper!

This book is wonderful providing a full range of counselling interventions and approaches for dealing with Grief. I've used this a lot. I found it really helpful as the book is broken down by theory...so you can get CBT approaches or Solution focused etc. Excellent organized, written and easy to read adn highly useable.

This Series is holding its 'Heat'.

I have thoroughly enjoyed Lisa's series. The stories flow easily from each point of conflict and tension to the next, the main conflicts are resolved each time in a satisfactory manner, but there is still the 'cliff-hanger' effect at the end to have the reader looking for the next in the series.
