Good source on culture

My wife worked for a year in the Philippines, and learned a whole lot about the language and culture from her experience. Many years later, I bought this for her as a gift. She has already learned things she didn't know from living there. I believe it does a good job on the "why?" rather than just the "what?", and context matters. I would certainly want to read this if I ever visited. Buy it!
