First time I heard about Stoicism, was in a high school. Few days ago I accidentally saw this book, and my old interest for philosophy brought me here. This is an interesting book with good basic explanations about Stoicism. I will probably use this "ancient" methods.

Great beginner guide to the philosophies of the traditional 'stoics.' Finley does a great job of breaking down a 2000+ year old basis of reasoning and thinking and converting it into useful bite size nuggets of meditational gold.

I want my money back.

Even at a buck it's still too expensive. It's a scant 25 pages and riddled with grammatical and spelling errors. So many that it detracted for what little content it did contain.
